I Don’t Really Want No Friends… ONLY SUGAR DADDIES.
I Don’t Really Want No Friends…
ONLY SUGAR DADDIES. 💋
An extremely unserious little manifesto on pretty girls, generous gentlemen, and the romantic art of being absolutely, devastatingly adored.
Let me start by saying that I think we should bring back a little whimsy.
A little romance. A little mystery. A little “whatever happened to a gentleman who actually wanted to make a girl’s day?”
Because somewhere along the way, dating became so terribly serious. Everyone is talking about emotional availability, attachment styles, communication patterns, healing journeys, and whether a man who takes six hours to text back is secretly avoidant or simply taking a very long nap.
And listen. Those things matter.
But have we considered, just for one delicious second, the possibility that a girl might also want to giggle, flirt, feel pretty, be taken out somewhere lovely, and encounter a gentleman who thinks making her happy is one of life’s genuinely enjoyable little pleasures?
Scandalous, I know.

Which brings me to my current position on friendship.
I don’t really want no friends. ONLY SUGAR DADDIES.
Please. I’m kidding.
Mostly. 💋
First of All, Did You SEE the Video?
Because if you haven’t, I would very much like you to go back up the page and watch it.
I’ll wait.
There I am, being entirely too cute for someone who is supposedly trying to behave herself, flirting with the camera, listening to Nicki Minaj and Tekashi 6ix9ine, and generally looking like I have never had a single practical thought in my entire life.
Which is, of course, an outrageous misrepresentation.
I have plenty of practical thoughts.
Some of them are even about things other than being adorable.
But there is something so delicious about a little video that doesn’t take itself too seriously. A pretty girl, a good song, a little eye contact, a little mischief, and the sort of expression that makes you wonder whether she’s flirting with you specifically.
Maybe I am.
Maybe I’m flirting with the entire internet.
Maybe the internet needs to stop being so stingy and send a girl some handsome gentlemen with excellent manners.
I’m not saying. I’m simply raising the question.
the question, gentlemen, is this:
What if dating could be fun again?
Not an exhausting job interview. Not a competition to see who can pretend to care less. Not two people sitting across from one another trying to determine whether expressing genuine enthusiasm will somehow destroy their bargaining position.
Just a little chemistry. A little curiosity. A little old-fashioned courtship with a thoroughly modern sense of humor.
And perhaps a man who knows that if he wants to make a woman feel special, he is perfectly allowed to actually make an effort.
Imagine!
A Love Letter to
the Generous Gentleman
Now, when I say sugar daddy, I suspect certain gentlemen immediately begin imagining a very particular arrangement.
And perhaps some of you have a perfectly good idea of what you’re looking for.
But I’d like to make a small distinction.
There is a difference between a man who merely has money and a man who genuinely enjoys being generous.
Money is a number.
Generosity is a personality trait.
It’s the thoughtfulness. The initiative. The pleasure of planning something lovely because you know someone will enjoy it. It’s remembering the little detail she mentioned in passing. It’s offering to make a difficult day easier. It’s seeing something that reminds you of her and wanting to share it.
And yes, sometimes it’s flowers.
Sometimes it’s dinner at that restaurant she has been dying to try.
Sometimes it’s a spontaneous little gift that makes her look at her phone, smile like an absolute idiot, and wonder how she managed to become the main character in somebody else’s romantic comedy.
And sometimes, generosity really does mean financial generosity, too.
There’s nothing inherently shameful about adults being honest that financial comfort, a generous lifestyle, and the ability to provide are attractive qualities in a romantic partner. The important part is that everyone understands the arrangement, feels comfortable with it, and genuinely wants to be there.
A thoughtful man doesn’t need to make grand promises to prove himself.
He simply shows up.

And a woman who appreciates him doesn’t have to pretend that his kindness means nothing to her.
She can enjoy it. Thank him for it. Flirt with him about it. Tell him he looks particularly handsome when he’s being thoughtful.
Everybody wins!

Well, provided everybody remembers their manners.
And gentlemen, I cannot stress enough how attractive good manners are.
Especially when accompanied by a little confidence.
And perhaps a reservation somewhere with excellent lighting.
I’m only human. A very sexy, playful, charismatic human. [with an incredible body just made for you to hold]

The Sugar Daddy Dating Fantasy Is Really About Feeling Wanted
Here’s where I become just a tiny bit sentimental, so please bear with me.
I think many people are a little lonelier than they let on.
Men included.

Possibly especially the men who have spent years building careers, paying bills, handling responsibilities, and becoming the person everyone else relies on.
You can have a successful life and still wish somebody were excited to hear from you.
You can be perfectly capable of taking care of yourself and still enjoy having someone to share the good parts of life with.
You can have a beautiful home, a full calendar, and a respectable bank balance and still find yourself wondering who would notice if you had a particularly wonderful day.
Or a particularly terrible one.
Or simply wanted to tell somebody something silly that happened at lunch.
And that’s one of the things I find interesting about the idea of a sugar daddy relationship.
At its best, it’s not simply about what one person can provide materially. It’s about what two adults enjoy about each other.

Perhaps he likes her playfulness.
Perhaps she likes his confidence.
Perhaps he has reached a point in life where he appreciates a woman who brings a little lightness, spontaneity, and silliness into his world.
Perhaps she appreciates a man who knows what he wants, communicates clearly, and doesn’t believe that romance should require seventeen consecutive acts of emotional detective work.
Perhaps they enjoy different things, have different experiences, and discover that those differences make their time together more interesting.
And perhaps they both enjoy the feeling of being appreciated for what they bring to the relationship.
That last part matters.

A woman isn’t a cure for loneliness, and a man isn’t a walking wallet. Neither person should have to perform a role in exchange for basic affection.
But two people who genuinely enjoy each other? Two people who are honest about what they want and generous with the affection, attention, and consideration they choose to give?
Oh, now we’re getting somewhere.
That sounds rather lovely to me.
The Men Who Make
Dreams Come True Have a Very Special Place in My Heart
Can I tell you a little secret about me?

I have a weakness for the kind of man who hears a girl talk about something she’s always wanted to experience and thinks, You know what? Why shouldn’t we make that happen?
Not because every dream needs a price tag. Not because a woman needs someone else to make her life worthwhile. But because there is something extraordinarily romantic about a person who pays attention to the little things that light you up.
The places you’ve always wanted to see. The restaurant you’ve been saving for a special occasion. The beautiful outfit you’ve imagined wearing on an unforgettable evening. The experience you’ve talked about for years but somehow never quite managed to put into motion.

And, in my case, New York City in the fall.
I have ALWAYS wanted to experience New York properly in autumn. I’m talking Central Park with the leaves changing, fabulous shopping, gorgeous outfits, beautiful streets, and that cinematic feeling of being a girl in a city that seems to have been invented for romantic adventures.
And then there’s the holiday version of that dream: New York all dressed up for Christmas, the festive windows, the twinkling lights, and seeing the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree with my own two eyes.
I want the whole ridiculous, wonderful, pinch-me-is-this-real experience.
And wouldn’t it be lovely to share a dream like that with someone who was just as excited to see you experience it as you were to experience it yourself?
That’s the part that gets me.
The anticipation. The planning. The little messages beforehand. Deciding what to wear. Wondering where we’ll have dinner. The feeling that something lovely is on the horizon.
A generous gentleman who enjoys creating experiences can bring a very special kind of magic to dating. And a woman who is genuinely excited to share those experiences can bring plenty of magic of her own.
Maybe your dream is New York. Maybe it’s a beautiful weekend in Miami, an evening in Los Angeles, a crisp autumn date in Boston, or simply discovering a wonderful new restaurant in Chicago.
Maybe it’s not even about traveling anywhere. Maybe the dream is finding someone whose company makes an ordinary Tuesday feel a little less ordinary.
I think the best adventures start with curiosity, a little imagination, and two people who actually want to be there.
And if a handsome gentleman happens to read this and think, I know exactly where I’d take her?

Darling, I do hope you’ll tell me about it.
Why I Think Older Men
Can Be So Charming
Let me be clear: I am not suggesting that every older man is a sophisticated romantic gentleman, any more than every younger man is incapable of planning a date.
There are exceptions to every rule.
Somewhere out there, an eighty-year-old man is probably still texting “u up?” at 1:47 a.m., and somewhere else, a twenty-six-year-old has already booked the restaurant, arranged the flowers, and confirmed the reservation.
Life is funny like that.
But I do understand the appeal of a man who has grown comfortable in his own skin.
A man who doesn’t need to compete with every other man in the room.
A man who can appreciate a woman without treating her affection like a prize he must win through sheer stubbornness.
A man who can be direct about his interest, confident enough to make the first move, and mature enough to understand that being generous doesn’t entitle him to somebody else’s time, body, or feelings.
That kind of confidence is attractive.
So is curiosity.
So is a man who asks questions and actually listens to the answers.
So is someone who can laugh at himself.
And if he happens to enjoy treating a woman he likes to a lovely dinner, sending her flowers, helping make her life a little easier, or planning a weekend that gives them both something to look forward to?

Well, I certainly wouldn’t tell him to stop being charming. I wouldn’t have to tell him a thing. He’s just an incredibly thoughtful, loving person at heart.
The “Only Sugar Daddies” Policy: A Few Very Serious Requirements
Since we’re apparently accepting applications, I suppose we should establish some standards.
Please note that this is an entirely unofficial, highly scientific, and absolutely not legally binding list.
1. You must enjoy a little flirting.
I refuse to believe that we have all survived this much history just to become incapable of sending a playful message.
Tell me I’m pretty. Make me laugh. Let me catch you smiling at your phone.
We are adults. We can handle a little harmless romantic mischief.
2. Generosity is attractive. Entitlement is not.
There is something lovely about a man who enjoys giving.
There is something decidedly less lovely about a man who believes every kind gesture comes with an invoice payable in affection.
Be generous because you want to be. Let kindness be a pleasure, not a negotiation conducted through guilt.
3. You must understand the importance of chemistry.
A nice bank balance cannot manufacture a spark.
Neither can a handsome face, a designer watch, or an impressive professional biography.
There has to be something between us.
A conversation that flows. A shared joke. A look that lasts half a second longer than necessary.
That delicious moment when you realize you’re not checking the time because you’d rather keep talking.
4. You must be capable of making an actual plan.
Gentlemen, this is your moment.
Instead of asking a woman to do all the work of figuring out whether you’re interested, why not tell her?
Suggest a date. Pick a place. Offer a day and time.
Confidence doesn’t mean assuming she’ll say yes. It means being willing to ask and gracious enough to respect her answer.
Bonus points if the place has excellent desserts.
I have priorities.
5. You must appreciate a girl who is a little bit ridiculous.
Because I am not applying for the position of Most Serious Woman in the Entire Universe.
I like being silly.
I like being playful.
I like a little dramatic flair, a little flirtation, and the occasional declaration that I have decided to abandon all ordinary social expectations in favor of a life of romance and excellent snacks.
Sometimes a girl simply wants to put on a cute outfit, listen to her favorite song, and feel like the world is a little more magical than it looked yesterday.

If you understand that, I suspect we’ll get along beautifully as first dates turn into anniversaries…
Chicago Is Home, but I’m a Girl With a Passport Fantasy ✈️
For the gentlemen wondering where all this flirting might actually lead, let me make one thing clear: Chicago is home base.
I love the idea of enjoying a beautiful evening in my own city, discovering a new favorite restaurant, dressing up for dinner, taking a walk when the weather cooperates, or finding one of those little pockets of magic that make a city feel like your own private playground.
And autumn in Chicago has its own particular charm. The changing leaves, the architecture, the cozy places to escape the cold, the excuse to wear something gorgeous, and the delicious possibility of having someone to look forward to seeing when the day is done.
If you’re a Chicago gentleman who has been thinking that it might be nice to meet someone new this fall, consider this your playful little nudge.
And if you’re visiting Chicago for work? Well, a packed calendar doesn’t mean your entire trip has to consist of meetings, room-service dinners, and answering emails in a hotel room.
Sometimes it’s nice to have something genuinely enjoyable to look forward to.

I’m also open to exploring opportunities to travel for the right connection. New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Boston, and other destinations can all be part of the conversation, depending on timing and arrangements.
I love the idea of a connection that doesn’t have to be confined to one zip code. A lovely introduction in Chicago could lead to another adventure somewhere else, provided we’re both enthusiastic about making it happen.
And for my gentlemen farther away, there is something rather lovely about getting acquainted before geography enters the picture.
A good conversation can begin anywhere.
So tell me: are you a Chicago gentleman with a dinner reservation in mind, a frequent traveler who would enjoy meeting someone while you’re in town, or a romantic with a destination already on your wish list?
I’m curious about all three.
Possibly dangerously curious.
You’ve been warned. 💋
For My Long-Distance Admirers: You Don’t Have to Live Around the Corner 💌
And now, a little love for the gentlemen who are reading this from somewhere I can’t see out of my window.
Perhaps you’re in New York. Perhaps you’re in California, somewhere along the coast in Florida, or in a small town in Alabama where absolutely nobody would suspect you were reading a flirtatious little manifesto about sugar daddies and romantic adventures.
First of all, hello, darling.
Second, I don’t think an interesting connection has to begin with two people standing in the same room.
Sometimes it starts with a message. A shared joke. A conversation that unexpectedly lasts longer than either person intended. The discovery that someone has a sense of humor you appreciate, a perspective you find interesting, or a way of making an ordinary day feel a little brighter.
For the right people, virtual companionship can be its own lovely experience.
That might mean regular conversation, playful messages, sharing little pieces of your day, or getting to know one another while life carries us through different cities and time zones.
The important thing is that we’re both clear about what we’re looking for and what kind of connection we genuinely have time and interest to build.
I’m particularly intrigued by people who are curious about the world, enjoy a little flirtation, and believe that getting to know someone should be enjoyable rather than an exhausting exercise in decoding mixed signals.
And who knows? Depending on circumstances, a virtual connection might remain virtual, or it might eventually inspire a real-life meeting.
There is no need to rush a good conversation.
So if you’re a gentleman who has been quietly enjoying my little corner of the internet from afar, you don’t need to wait until you’re planning a trip to Chicago to say hello.
Introduce yourself. Tell me where in the world you’re reading from. Tell me something you’ve always wanted to experience, or what your idea of an absolutely wonderful evening looks like.
I have a feeling we might have more to talk about than you expect.
After all, a girl can have a Chicago address and still have a very international imagination.
And mine, darling, is positively ridiculous. 😍
So, What Exactly Am I Looking For? The Same as You!

We Finally Found Each Other
Oh, you know.
A gentleman with a sense of humor.
A little chemistry.
A little romance.
A little generosity.
Someone who enjoys making plans and following through.
Someone who understands that attention is lovely when it is freely given, affection is meaningful when it is sincere, and the best connections happen when neither person has to pretend to be somebody else.
And, naturally, someone who can appreciate a woman being a little bit ridiculous on the internet.
Because I really do think there’s something charming about allowing yourself to be seen enjoying life.
Not every moment needs to be polished into a perfectly respectable portrait of adulthood.
Sometimes you can simply be a girl, enjoying a song, looking cute, flirting with the camera, and making an absurd declaration about your romantic preferences.
Sometimes that little moment of playfulness is exactly what somebody else needs to see.
Maybe it makes him laugh.
Maybe it reminds him that he still enjoys flirting.
Maybe he has been meaning to get back out there and meet someone interesting.
Maybe he sees the video and thinks, Well, that girl looks like she’d be fun to take to dinner.
And maybe, just maybe, he decides to do something about it.
I think that’s rather sweet.
A Little Message for the Gentleman Reading This
If you’ve made it this far, first of all, congratulations!
You have successfully survived my extremely important investigation into the relationship between pretty girls, romantic generosity, and the urgent need for everyone to relax a little.
I appreciate your dedication to the subject.
But I do have one question for you…
When was the last time you did something simply because it made you happy to make somebody else happy?
Not because you expected a reward.
Not because you were trying to prove something.
Just because you liked the person, enjoyed their company, and wanted to see them smile.

If it’s been a while, perhaps that’s something worth bringing back.
And if you’re a gentleman who enjoys dating, appreciates a playful woman, and believes that generosity and romance are rather lovely qualities to bring to a relationship, then I suspect we might have something to talk about.
I’m not promising that I’ll be perfectly sensible.
I’m not promising that I won’t flirt with you.
And I certainly cannot promise that I won’t make another ridiculous video about my romantic ambitions.
(In fact, that last one seems highly unlikely.)
But I can promise that I appreciate a little humor, a little kindness, and a man who knows how to make his interest known without making things unnecessarily complicated.
So don’t be shy.
Say hello.
Tell me what made you smile.
Tell me where you’d take a girl who appreciates a beautiful evening and a gentleman who knows how to plan one.
And if you’re the sort of man who enjoys a little old-fashioned courtship with a playful, modern twist?
Well, darling, I do believe you’ve found yourself in the right corner of the internet.
Final Verdict: Friends Are Lovely. Sugar Daddies Are a Concept. 💋
To be perfectly fair, friends are wonderful.
Friends bring snacks. Friends offer advice. Friends tell you when your outfit is fabulous and when you are about to make a spectacularly questionable decision.
We need friends.
But a little romantic attention? A little flirtation? A little generosity from someone who genuinely enjoys your company?
That has its own particular charm.
And if we can have a little fun with the idea of a pretty girl putting out a very unserious call for admirers, why on earth shouldn’t we?
Life is complicated enough.
Let people flirt.
Let grown adults be honest about what they find attractive.
Let gentlemen be gentlemen, let women have standards, and let everyone involved enjoy the experience without forgetting that the person on the other side of the conversation is a real human being.
As for me?
I’m going to keep making my little videos, being a little ridiculous, and seeing who has the confidence to say hello.
Because somewhere between the music, the flirting, and the entirely unreasonable number of times I probably checked how cute I looked on camera, I realized something.
Sometimes you don’t need an elaborate dating strategy.
Sometimes you just need to let people see your personality.
And sometimes a girl can announce to the entire internet that she doesn’t really want any friends, only sugar daddies, and still be sweet enough about it that everyone knows she’s having a little fun.

Unless, of course, you have an excellent dinner reservation. (In which case, I am prepared to hear your proposal.)
Now tell me, gentlemen:
are you the type to send a girl flowers?
plan a proper thoughtful date?
or surprise her with something thoughtful just because you can?
I have a feeling the answers might be interesting.
And if you’ve been quietly watching my little corner of the internet, consider this your invitation to stop lurking for five minutes and introduce yourself.
I promise I’m much more charming when there’s someone to flirt with.
